Lattanaphone has joined the Department of Planning and Cooperation as a Deputy Director of the Foreign Aid Division (FAD) since early 2013. Her main responsibilities are overseeing the implementation of project activities under Component C (Mainstreaming Aid for Trade) of the TDF-2, the Enhance Integrated Framework (EIF), as well as the inter-ministerial and development partner coordination. She is also supervising the operations of both the Trade and Private Sector Working Group and Program Executive Committee secretariats.

Lattanaphone works for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce since 2004. Firstly, she started working as a Project Administrator for Supporting Laos Accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) under a Government-UNDP project and later on worked as Trade Officer for the Foreign Trade Policy Department. Before joining the FAD/NIU, she was the personal secretary of the Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce for five years.
