Education:

- Bachelor of Education Majoring in English, National University of Laos (Lao PDR)
- Bachelor of Finance-Accounting, Lao International College (Lao PDR)

Nitnida Phongsavath joined the NIU as National Finance Officer. She is working closely with all implementing agencies to facilitate the processing of payment for all of their activities, prepare fund replenishment, liaison with the Ministry of Finance, World Bank and other government agencies on any financial issues. She also maintains project accounts (TDF, EIF Tier-1, JSDF and UN-SECO) to ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.

Before joining the NIU, she worked as a project secretary at the Ministry of Planning and Investment on the ADB-funded Northern Region Development Strategy Project as well as at the Minsitry of Finance under the World Bank-funded Financial Management Capacity Building Project. On 1 April 2013, she was transferred from project staff to Government staff (Trade Officer).
